Proxilla Version 0.9.0

New Features/Updates:

  1. Proxilla now works with Firefox versions 3.5 to 4.0
  2. Easily add any Glype Proxy to Proxilla with the “Grab Proxy” button.

There is a new button on the toolbar labeled “Grab Proxy.” Just press the button while you are using a Glype proxy. You will be prompted to test the proxy to verify it is compatible with Proxilla. If you are updating Proxilla from an older version, the “Grab Proxy” button will not show up automatically. You can get it by right clicking the toolbar -> customize -> drag “Grab Proxy” button to the toolbar.

Just right click on any of your bookmarks and you will have 3 new options. You can open the bookmark to the same tab, to a new tab, or to a new window via the Glype proxy set in Proxilla.

The Proxilla toolbar being customizable means that you can change the items on the toolbar. Just right click on the toolbar, then click customize. You can then drag and drop the toolbar items to you desired location.

New Features/Updates:

  1. Compatible with Firefox’s “Private Browsing”
  2. Favorites can be excluded when resetting Proxilla

The Private Browsing compatibilty helps to keep the user more secure while surfing. Firefox doesn’ t save cookies or history while you are surfing in Private Browsing mode. Proxilla works with that Firefox feature by preventing the automatic saving of urls visited through it. Of course, you have the option to override this in Tools > Proxilla > Settings > Preferences.
